Something I Haven’t Said in a Long Time
I've realized I need to show appreciation to everyone who helps and supports me. I haven't said this in a long time. I've spent a lot of my life thinking about how others see me. Byron Katie mentions that there's 'God's business, your business, and my business,' and we end up causing ourselves pain when we don't 'stay in our own lane.' It's some of the best advice I've ever received.

Finding My Way with a Little Help
You know, it’s funny how life works sometimes. It feels like there’s always been this perfect person showing up right when I needed them the most, helping me find my way back to where I’m supposed to be. Seriously, it’s like the universe has this way of sending the right folks into my life at just the right moments to nudge me back on track.
Guided by Signs and Support
Looking back at all those years—before and after my diagnosis—I can see how blessed I’ve been. There were always people around, whether they were friends, family, or even just acquaintances, who seemed to know exactly what to say or do to help me out. It’s like they had this sixth sense about what I was going through. And let’s not forget about the signs! Sometimes it was a random conversation, a song on the radio, or even a book I stumbled upon that seemed to speak directly to my situation. It’s almost as if the universe was sending me little messages, guiding me along the way.
Gratitude for the Journey
I really appreciate all those moments and all those people who helped me navigate the ups and downs. It’s a reminder that even when things get tough, I’m never really alone in this journey. There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel, and often, it’s thanks to someone who stepped in just when I needed them.
Finding Strength in the Struggles

It’s funny how life works. Sometimes, it throws you into the deepest, darkest places, and you think you’re completely alone. That was me, during one of the toughest times in my life when I found myself homeless. It felt like everything had fallen apart, and I was just wandering around without a clue about what to do next. But in the midst of all that chaos, something incredible happened. It was like I could actually feel the hand of God reaching out to me. I know that sounds a bit cliché, but honestly, it was during those moments of despair that I felt the strongest connection to something greater than myself.
Unexpected Moments of Hope
I remember sitting on a park bench one day, feeling completely defeated. But then, out of nowhere, a friend appeared and offered to house me for a month. It was such a simple act of kindness, yet it was a lifeline. In that moment, I realized that even when things seem hopeless, there are always little signs of love and support around us. It’s almost like the universe was nudging me, reminding me that I wasn’t truly alone. Whether it was a friendly smile from someone passing by or a warm cup of coffee shared with a fellow wanderer, or someone offering me temporary housing; those moments became beacons of light during my darkest days. Within days I had a job and was on my way to better things.

Lessons Learned
Looking back now, I can see how those experiences shaped me. They taught me resilience and gratitude. I learned that even in the face of adversity, there’s always a glimmer of hope if you’re willing to look for it. So, yeah, it was during that tough time of being homeless that I felt the hand of God the strongest, guiding me through the storm and reminding me that brighter days were ahead.
If I Could Turn Back Time
I really wish I could go back and reconnect with all the amazing people who supported me during the tough times in my life. Unfortunately, some have passed away, and others are just hard to track down. But if you're one of those people reading this blog post, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
